Statistics Canada has a reputation of being one of best statistical agencies in the world.  If you haven't accessed their reports, I urge you to do so.  There is a wealth of information available on almost anything you can think of.

Well, I'm pleased to report that the management consulting industry will be included shortly with a price index.

The Canadian Association of Management Consultants is helping to facilitate the necessary meaningful discussion between major consulting firms and Stats Can.  Hopefully, with proper dialogue the reporting requirements will be easier to submit and the resultant price index will be a valuable tool to both the industry firms and to procurers of consulting help.

Today, we held our first session, where Stats Can experts shared their concept for the index.  A number of firm leaders listened, provided feedback and made suggestions on how to make the survey easier and more valuable.

We are helping to coordinate the industry.  This is just one example how.
