National Research Council Continues its Support of Canadian Business Innovation

Yesterday, The Honourable Christian Paradis, Minister of Industry, announced the Digital Technology Adoption Pilot Program (DTAPP) to support the adoption of information and communications technologies by small and medium-sized businesses.  $80 million is pledged over three years towards this project.  DTAPP is designed to foster innovation and to ensure that grassroots Canadian businesses are prepared to compete and create strength in Canada's long-term economy.

CMC-Canada has long been a supporter of the National Research Council (NRC) and their Industrial Research Assistance Program (IRAP).  Through the Management Advisory Service (MAS), CMC-Canada and IRAP have delivered advisory services to emerging companies to help in the commercialization of new technologies.

CMC-Canada applauds the Federal Government for supporting SME businesses and for ensuring that resources are available for their adoption of new technologies.
